Q: Do you write my vows for me?
A: Well…yes and no…but mostly no. Your vows are a product of your own words and feelings, expressed through the questionnaire you fill out, and through talking with me. My expertise is in shaping the vows so they are clear, concise, engaging, and readable.

Q: What about reading the vows? I’m not great at/comfortable with public speaking.
A: With practice, almost anyone can read and recite their vows comfortably. I listen to you and coach you on your speaking. We will take as long as necessary until you feel confident and ready.

Q: Why can’t I just use AI?
A: You could, but your vows will sound like they come from AI, which is, frankly, not so great at this time. Quality AI responses require high quality human input and prompts, and even then the output is usually subpar. AI doesn’t do nuance, tenderness or humor nearly as well as a human.

Q: How long does this take?
A: Ideally, you get in touch at least a month or two before your wedding day. This will give you more time to ruminate on your partner and the love you feel for them, in turn giving us more freedom to fully flesh out your vows. However, sometimes life gets in the way, and we have to get something together in just a week or two. This is ALL doable.

Q: Can you do vows for both partners?
A: Of course! In this case, I would work with both to assure that the vows complement each other, without giving away any of the opposite content to either party - vows are supposed to be a surprise!

Q: How many revisions do I get?
A: As many as you need, until you are satisfied. Sometimes one draft is all it takes, but usually at least a few revisions are necessary.
